Your photos are personal, and we treat them that way. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We use your information only to create your book, fulfill and ship your order, respond to you, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.
To keep the service safe, uploaded images are automatically screened for prohibited content before they can be used, and we may review, monitor, and moderate content and activity. We may block or remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms of Service. As required by law, we report suspected child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we may preserve and disclose information to comply with the law or protect the safety of any person.
We share the minimum needed with trusted providers: Shopify (store and payments), our print partner Lulu (to print and ship your book), and the AI image service above (to render coloring pages). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect safety as described above.
We use essential cookies to run the site and checkout. To improve the book builder we record which steps a visitor reaches (for example "added photos", "saw the preview") under a random session number that is not linked to you and is deleted after 60 days. We also use the Pinterest Tag, a small measurement script from Pinterest, to learn whether our pins and ads lead to orders; it records page visits and, after a purchase, the order number, quantity and amount (never your photos, name or address). Pinterest's handling of that data is described in Pinterest's privacy policy. The Meta Pixel does the same for our Facebook and Instagram ads (page visits and, after a purchase, the amount and quantity - never your photos, name or address); see Meta's privacy policy. You can ask us to access or delete your personal information by emailing hello@colorsoflifebydeclan.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Our books lovingly feature children, but the site is intended for adult purchasers and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Protecting children is our highest priority. We have zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses a minor; such content is strictly prohibited, screened for, and removed, offenders are permanently banned, and suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to NCMEC with full cooperation with law enforcement. We use reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission is completely secure.
